More Aerodynamic 2018 Ford Mustang Promises to Be a Real Beast

Sports coupe and muscle car enthusiasts are more than familiar with the latest Ford Mustang by now. Four years into its life, however, it’s receiving its first refresh. But while another automaker might have stuck to the basics, Ford has touched practically every aspect of the 2018 Mustang—from its aerodynamics to its suspension, and even engines and safety technology.

While the changes in each area are minimal, the ways they add up speak volumes about what the 2018 model year will bring. Gone is the unloved V6, in favor of a torque bump for the four- and eight-cylinder engines. Suspension has also gotten attention with revised stabilizers and shocks, not to mention lateral chassis stiffness. There’s a new ten-speed automatic transmission on tap, as well as a customizable driver’s setting for preferred engine and suspension tunings.

But even that is just the tip of the iceberg. To learn more about what’s new with the 2018 Mustang, check out the video above, or contact us at our Ford dealership in Hanford, CA at your convenience.
