Ford Comes Back to the Midsize Truck Segment with 2019 Ranger

It's been a few years since Ford has offered a midsize truck option. Now, however, the auto maker is re-entering the segment with a new model. Resurrecting an old nameplate, the all-new 2019 Ranger is a truck with maneuverable proportions, tough construction, and well-balanced capability.

Arriving in 2019, the new Ranger will fill a role that none of the other Ford trucks have. Rather than focusing on brute strength and full-size bravado, the Ranger focuses on versatility.

Every new Ranger will come with a turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission. The Ranger also comes with one of two drivetrain options: the FX2 rear-wheel drive system and the FX4 four-wheel drive setup. An available terrain management system lets you make the most of four-wheel drive with different drive settings.

Even though it's smaller than other Ford trucks, it's still a robust vehicle. The 2019 Ranger is a true, body-on-frame truck that's ready for towing and off-road duties near Tulare and Lemoore.

Alongside tradition truck duties, the new Ranger offers all sorts of technology features. Active safety tech keeps an eye on the road, while intuitive infotainment keeps you connected.

The 2019 Ranger won't be available for purchase until next year, but there's plenty to learn about this exciting new truck. Stop by Keller Ford Lincoln near Fresno and Hanford to find out more.
