In a market dominated by powerful, robust full-size pickup truck options, including the new 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500, the Ford F-150 stands out large and proud! Visit our dealership near Fresno and see how the Ford F-150 stacks up!

The Silverado and F-150 have similar towing capabilities for their lower engine options, and both of their maximum towing capabilities are above 13,000 pounds. The Ford truck out-tows its Chevy rival, though, with up to 14,000 pounds of maximum towing capacity. The 2021 Silverado 1500 tows a maximum of 13,300 pounds.

Engine Power & Payload

When it comes to raw engine power, the new Chevy Silverado can't keep up with the new Ford F-150. The F-150 offers up to 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque, while the Silverado offers a maximum of 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

The new Ford F-150 again has the upper hand with a maximum towing capacity of 3,325 pounds of payload capacity to the Silverado 1500's 2,280 pounds.

The starting engine for the F-150 offers a combined EPA rating of 22 MPG to the Silverado's 17 MPG.

Available LED Lighting

Both trucks come with optional LED headlights, taillights, and cargo bed lighting. However, the F-150 comes with optional LED Mirror-Mounted Spotlights for even more visibility, as well as LED projector lights with dynamic bending headlamps - you can't find the same setup in the Chevy truck.

Interior Space

When you're looking for a roomier ride, the Ford F-150 is the right truck for you. The Ford truck enjoys more front-row shoulder room and hip room, and more second-row legroom, hip room, headroom, and shoulder room over its Chevy competitor.

Interior Luxury & Tech

The brand-new interior of the F-150 takes advantage of the newest, most exciting features from Ford, including an interior workspace surface, Max Recline Seats, a 12-inch digital screen, and the brand-new 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Chevy Silverado 1500 has plenty of options, but it won't include any of these same features.
